BEAVER COUNTY TRANSIT AUTHORITY
BCTA Routes 1 and 2
Ensure that low-income residents of Beaver County have access to entry-level job opportunities during non-traditional working hours and when other transit services do not exist by providing earlier and later weekday/Saturday service on BCTA’s Routes 1 and 2.
FAMILY SERVICES OF WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
Ways to Work
Ensure that low income individuals who do not have access to convenient public transit can get to and from jobs and job-related activities such as childcare and job training by providing bank loans to working parents who have challenging credit histories, so that they can purchase or repair an automobile.
HERITAGE COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

Work in collaboration with human service providers, workforce development agencies, and employers as a valuable information resource that is critical to understanding job access-related gaps.
Employment Transportation Assistance Program
Address the cost of transportation as a barrier to low-income individuals who are involved in employment-related activities and not eligible for any existing transportation program by providing a monthly bus pass at no cost the first two months, at an average $30 co-pay during the third and fourth months, a $35 co-pay in the fifth month, and a $49 co-pay in the final month.
WASHINGTON COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SW PA Regional Welfare to Work Transportation
Assist low-income individuals from Washington, Westmoreland, and Greene Counties in becoming self-sufficient by providing a demand-response shared ride service aimed at getting them to and from jobs and their children to and from child care centers (if located on the way to the jobs).
